All
accepted riders agree to terms and conditions set out for the Yamaha
R6 Cup
A formal contract will be put in place, which all riders must agree
to, which will state the series' terms and conditions and an agreement
for the Yamaha Superbike team berth for the winner.
£15,000+VAT
entry fee, covers total cost of full season racing
The
agreed entry fee will cover all racing costs throughout the championship
- entry fees, insurance, fuel, spares, tyres, damage - no other
costs incurred other than personal expenses.
Payment will be made in three installments, £5,000+VAT by
1st Feb 2003, £5,000+VAT by March 1st 2003 and £5,000+VAT
by 1st April 2003.
£1,000+VAT
returned per round missed through injury or extenuating circumstances
Any
rider who is unfortunate enough to miss rounds will be compensated
£1,000+VAT per round missed, more than two consecutive DNS
will be reviewed by Yamaha.

riders confirmed, 4 reserves, expense paid for weekend for the reserves
on stand by, £1,250+VAT if called up
It
is the intention that the R6 cup has a full grid for every round.
With this in mind 4 reserves will be invited to attend each round,
expenses paid for by Yamaha. In the event of a reserve being used
there will be a cost of £1,250+VAT per race.
Overall
winner will receive; One year contract with Yamaha Superbike Team
for British Superbike Championship, £15,000+VAT refund on
entry fee.
There
can only be one winner, but with MCN and other national media joining
the series as media partners it will not only be the winner who
gets noticed. The eventual winner will have the full entry fee +VAT
returned, plus a contract to join the Yamaha Superbike Team for
2004. The winner will be presented with the new Yamaha Superbike
at the NEC Motorcycle Show.
Runner
up will receive: New 2004 R6 road spec, 50% refund of entry fee
(£7,500+VAT)
Third
place will receive: £5,000+VAT refund + auxiliary sponsors
packages to be confirmed
Prize
fund to be finalised with incentives in place per round, Pole Position
award, fastest lap etc.
The
series sponsors have yet to be confirmed but the intention is to
have incentives running within the championship as well as a prize
fund.
Riders
will be allowed personal sponsor area to sell to non-conflicting
sponsors at Yamaha Motor UK discretion.
Once
all series sponsors have been confirmed there will be space allocated
to the rider for personal sponsors.

VIP hospitality spaces, a full hospitality vehicle will service
the championship and will be available for sponsors use.
The
current Superbike team hospitality will now service the R6 Cup,
this will offer fantastic opportunities for riders sponsors and
at each round the top three in the race will be presented to the
guests and sponsors.
All
accepted riders will be able to purchase an R6 for their own use
through their proposed Yamaha dealer, this will be at a Yamaha subsidised
cost
Yamaha
Motor UK will make available at a subsidised cost a road spec R6,
this will only be available through your proposed dealer, it is
Yamaha's intention that an R6 will be supplied for testing purposes
outside the Championship.
Application
has to be proposed by an official Yamaha dealer
Entries
must include CV with head and shoulders pictures
This
will be a very high profile series, we want to offer the media and
TV partners the opportunity to be involved in the selection process,
this is a racing academy and all aspects of finding the new sporting
star will be put to the panel, all entries must have up to date
pictures and information about the rider.
